I am always striving to learn new things, being interested in science since the age of 13. On a more personal level, I am married and my wife and I love to travel and explore new places. My hobbies include watching and following F1, playing golf with friends, and fishing with my father. My professional goals include being part of large collaborative research teams, and hopefully having the opportunity one day to lead my own research team within the life sciences. The current climate in South Africa does not allow me to pursue my career to its fullest, therefore, I am highly motivated to take the next step in Europe, where I can thrive in a challenging and innovative environment.

I do not currently have the permissions needed to work in Europe, but I am highly motivated to go through the necessary processes of obtaining a work visa when the opportunity for work arises. Both my wife and I are excited and motivated to immigrate to Europe, with the willingness to learn new languages and assimilate into new cultures. We are both very open-minded and interested in different European cultures.
